Baking
There are numerous ways in which the little time I spent in the kitchen leads me to a more productive life - where it teaches me to save money and manage my time. I agree that working in the kitchen requires a wide range of mathematical knowledge, including but not limited to measuring, ratios, proportions, and even conversions of recipes that sometimes can be a little tricky. Moreover, baking involves chemistry as it uses heat, cold, and cutting to change the composition of foods.
Exercising
I believe that staying fit works wonders for my mental state, leaving me more focused, energetic, and productive. Simultaneously, I also use basic mathematical equations such as addition, subtraction, and multiplication to calculate sets, reps, heartbeat per minute, and target heart rate.
Home Decorating
Since I will be staying in my house the whole day, I want to have an organized and decent space - dusting furniture, sweeping the floor, wiping surfaces, and many more that will allow me to work with my comfort and effectiveness. It will also be best if I keep my eyes on dimensions and geometry to put everything in balance.
Gardening and Landscaping
I am struggling right now with the restrictions placed by this pandemic, so I decided to utilize the vacant space in our yard to create a green haven which it involves lots of effort and time to prolong their lifespan. Whenever I am in the garden, I need to know concepts such as area and volume to determine how much soil, fertilizer, or other materials are necessary for the plants.
